The Child and Education Administration in Bollnäs Municipality is responsible for preschool, preschool class, after-school centers, comprehensive school, and adapted comprehensive school. Currently, we are responsible for a total of 16 municipal preschools and 9 comprehensive schools.

Alirskolan is a comprehensive school and adapted comprehensive school with approximately 300 students during the 2026–2027 school year. We are a young school with dedicated employees who want to build a operations where all students have the opportunity to succeed – based on their prerequisites.

We have a well-functioning student health team consisting of a counselor, psychologist, school nurse, study and career counselor, special needs pedagogue, and two special needs teachers. Together, we work preventively, close to the teaching, with the student's entire school day in focus.

About the position

The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment with a start date of August 12, 2026.

Your mission with us

As a teacher at Alirskolan, you teach English, Swedish, and Swedish as a Second Language in grades 7–9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching with the student's learning and development at the center.

You are part of a work team where collaboration, dialogue, and shared responsibility are natural parts of everyday life. Together with colleagues, student health services, and school management, you participate in the school's improvement work and contribute to teaching that is clear, inclusive, and meaningful for the students.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with qualifications in English, Swedish, and/or Swedish as a Second Language for grades 7–9.

It is important to us that you:

• enjoy meeting students and building trusting relationships
• have the ability to adapt teaching to different needs
• enjoy collaborating and sharing experiences with colleagues
• want to develop the school, not just your own classroom
