Specialist Physician in Psychiatry and/or Addiction Medicine for LARO Clinics in Landskrona and/or Lund

We are expanding our operations and are looking for additional specialist physicians in psychiatry and/or addiction medicine for our LARO clinics in Landskrona and/or Lund.

From May 1, 2026, the operations will be conducted under a new contract according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) commissioned by Region Skåne. Although the contractual form is new, the operations and the team are not. Our employees have worked together within LARO for a long time. There are established working methods, good knowledge of the patient group, and close collaboration between professions.

Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence (LARO) combines pharmacological treatment with psychological and psychosocial interventions and is conducted in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and national knowledge support.

We offer structured, evidence-based, and respectful treatment where the patient's quality of life and long-term rehabilitation are at the center.

At our clinics, we work closely together in a multiprofessional team. The leadership works clinically on-site and consists of two nurses and one medically responsible physician. The team is characterized by high competence, clear structures, and a shared focus on quality and patient safety.

We work based on current science and proven experience and place great emphasis on continuous competence development.

Job Responsibilities

As a specialist physician with us, you work with the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with opioid dependence. The work takes place in close collaboration with other professions within the team, with daily dialogue and continuous cooperation. The assignment also includes external collaboration with other healthcare providers, authorities, community actors, and relatives.

About the Position

The scope and content of the position can be discussed based on the needs of the operations and your experience and interests, within the framework of the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations for LARO as well as the assignment and contract that apply with Region Skåne.

There may also be an opportunity in the future for increased responsibility in the form of a role as the medically responsible physician (MLA) for one of our units.
