Tallgläntan is a special housing facility with different orientations within elderly care. There is housing for people with dementia, housing for older people with mental illness, as well as short-term housing at Tallgläntan. WORK TASKS

As a person, you take initiative in the work and see what needs to be prioritized from a holistic perspective. You have a high sense of service, are helpful towards your colleagues, and ensure that your work tasks are carried out in a quality manner. You are secure in your professional role, are responsible, careful, and can work independently.

As staff with us, you provide individual and secure care by working in a close relationship with the elderly person and their relatives, and you view the elderly person from a holistic perspective. You handle certain medical care tasks based on delegation from the nurse. As part of the daily work, you will work in Intraphone, which is part of our planning and documentation system. To succeed in the role with us, it is important that you have good cooperation and initiative skills and take responsibility for driving elderly care of the highest quality. Good treatment is crucial for us.

Teamwork for good quality.

We work in teams around the resident with care assistants, assistant nurses, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity coordinators to offer health-promoting care and support of very good quality. This also means that you have secure support from colleagues, both care staff and other professional roles.

Part of the position will include shared shifts, which means that you may sometimes go and do a few work shifts at another residence or with other operations that we collaborate with within Falkenberg Municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska) and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare that you have the right to use the title. If you are waiting for your certificate, you need to be able to show that you have a completed assistant nurse education and that you have applied for and are waiting for the certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

We are looking for you who have a good manner of treatment and who are responsible, flexible, easy to cooperate with, and focused on the best for the users. You are used to working with documentation, implementation plans, and enjoy technical solutions.

Experience of dementia care and BPSD is meritorious.

You should be genuinely interested in meeting older people and working person-centered based on the values that apply to healthcare and care. It is important that you are computer literate and that you master the Swedish language in speech and writing. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. The position is scheduled for night/evening and day.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Permanent.

From July 1, 2023, assistant nurse is a protected professional title.
