Assignment Description
A large public sector organization is looking for a UX Designer for their IT department to work in a cross-functional development team responsible for a self-developed resource planning system. The system is used in business-critical processes and is in an expansive development phase with several parallel initiatives and further development projects.

In this role, you work closely with developers, system specialists, and the business throughout the entire development process – from needs analysis and requirement gathering to design, testing, and final solution. The assignment covers both strategic and operational UX work with a focus on user-friendly and efficient solutions for different platforms and use cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user studies and needs analyses
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design proposals
• Plan and conduct usability tests
• Work iteratively with improvements based on feedback and user insights
• Participate in demos, workshops, and other activities within the team's agile working methods
• Collaborate closely with developers and the business to ensure a cohesive user experience

The assignment requires the ability to work independently while being an active part of the team's joint delivery and development.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of documented experience in UX design for various platforms, such as mobile, desktop, tablet, or other digital interfaces
• Documented experience with the entire UX process – from needs gathering and prototypes to usability testing and feedback handling
• Experience working with user stories and user story mapping
• Experience with agile working methods
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in prototyping tools
• Knowledge in UI/digital graphic design
• Experience planning and leading workshops or design sprints
• Experience in requirements analysis work

Other Information

• Start: August 2026
• Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
• Location: Stockholm
• Hybrid work with a requirement to be present in the office at least 3 days per week
