We are looking for a specialist physician in general practice for our doctor's office, with the possibility of working full-time or part-time.

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Centre, 1177 and emergency centres in the evenings and on weekends, and the General Practice Education Centre. We run a broad primary care activity where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the final stages of life.

The health centre is easily accessible in the district of Hageby with good connections to the rest of Norrköping and currently has approximately 15,000 registered patients. We have well-functioning, well-equipped, and pleasant premises, as well as a development-inspired working method and run a broad primary care activity. We are proud to have an area profile characterized by diversity where we meet patients of all ages with many different care needs.

The health centre includes a doctor's office, specialist nurse clinics, nurse clinics, elderly care clinics, child health services, counseling clinics, dietitian competency, foot care, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for some nursing homes and home care in our registration area. We are approximately 65 employees who enjoy working together in an open working climate. Here we work together with cooperation and respect for each other's competence; our goal is a working climate where everyone has varied tasks and can develop in their professional role.

Job Description

We are in a phase of development and need more colleagues to meet patients' needs and consciously steer towards improved and more efficient working methods. We have specialists, ST-doctors at various levels, and several assistant doctors. We also have our passionate senior employees who are happy to work and share their competence.

Supervision of students and training doctors is an important part of the work, as is engagement in the health centre's development and quality work. The health centre's doctors also participate in primary and back-on-call duties for the eastern part of the county during on-call hours.

About You

You are a specialist physician in general practice and have previous experience working in primary care. You have a Swedish medical license (to be attached to the application) and Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish C1. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. Class B driver's license is required.

You are confident in your professional role, are flexible, and have an easy time collaborating. You have good communication skills towards patients, colleagues, and other operations. You are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work.
