The Municipal Executive Office is now looking for a Growth Director who will become a key figure in the work of creating a dynamic and attractive municipality for both residents and businesses. We offer a strategically important role in a development-oriented municipality where you have the opportunity to influence the municipality's future development in an inspiring and collaborative work environment.

Job Responsibilities

Kramfors Municipality is in an interesting phase of development, and as Growth Director, your task is to seize the opportunities the municipality has and translate them into concrete results in line with political goals and decisions. The role involves developing and implementing strategic plans for economic growth and societal development suited to our municipality, as well as monitoring and analyzing trends and changes that affect the municipality's development.

You play a central role in strengthening our competitiveness and attractiveness, as well as promoting collaboration between different actors within and outside the municipality. You lead four departments, each with its own department head:

• Social Development
• Environment and Building
• Culture and Leisure (including library services)
• Communication and Customer Service

You inspire performance and ensure that our projects and initiatives are both effective and sustainable. You build and maintain strong collaborations within the municipal group, with business life, educational institutions, and other key stakeholders.

The role includes responsibility for operations, economy, personnel, and working environment. You report to the Municipal Manager, are part of the Municipal Manager's leadership group, and have close contact with the municipality's political leadership.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a university education and/or documented competence acquired in other ways. You have experience in strategic leadership, preferably within the public sector.

You have a communicative and coaching leadership style that engages and motivates. You find it easy to collaborate, are service-oriented, and have a strong interest and commitment to the municipality's development.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and personal qualities.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Multilingualism is an advantage.

A B-class driver's license is required.
