In Ragunda Municipality, we offer an exciting opportunity to combine strategic leadership as Unit Manager for Administration, IT, and Preparedness with the close and fast decision-making process in a small municipality. Your role with us

As Unit Manager, you will become a central figure. We have recently chosen to bring Administration, IT, and Preparedness under one umbrella to create synergy, and now we are looking for you who want to lead this journey. Your task is to shape the unit, and you are authorized to establish the structures, working methods, and goals for our joint work. You have personnel, economic, and operational responsibility for three specialist areas:

• Administration: Responsibility for committee administration, registry, and archives. You ensure legal security and good public administration.
• IT: Strategic management of our digital environment, system administration, and digitalization pace. IT has an operational manager.
• Preparedness: Leadership of civil defense, crisis preparedness, and security protection work. Preparedness has an operational manager.

Your areas of responsibility and main tasks

• Lead and develop the unit for Preparedness, IT, and Administration.
• Efficientize administrative working methods and ensure that the administration follows laws and steering documents.
• Implement and follow up on policies and routines for information security and data protection.
• Drive development projects within digitalization and information security.
• Ensure that the organization is prepared for incidents and crises.
• Act as an advisor to management on matters concerning law, security, and IT strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic education in security, IT, law, or equivalent, or alternatively experience that the employer deems equivalent. We also place great emphasis on your personal suitability and your ability to build relationships. You have knowledge within at least one of the unit's areas of responsibility and a genuine interest in the others.

You also have good communication skills and can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, as well as the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. We are looking for you who are a communicative leader with the ability to prioritize in a complex everyday life. You are used to moving between strategic decisions and operational issues.

Since the role is new, it is required that you are self-reliant, proactive, and have a pedagogical ability to explain why security and structure are everyone's responsibility.

If you have experience leading in change or starting up operations, as well as experience in leadership with personnel and budget responsibility, preferably in the public sector, it is meritorious. We see qualities such as solution-focused, structured, and having strong drive as meritorious.

The position is placed in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
