We are now looking for four assistant nurses for Spångagården

Here you will help create a safe, meaningful, and valuable everyday life for our residents.

Spångagården is a nursing home with both dementia units and units for people with other care needs. We collaborate closely between units to provide our residents with safe, high-quality, and cohesive care.

Here, you become part of an experienced and engaged work group where you work together with, among others, registered nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We work person-centred and place great emphasis on good treatment, security, and quality in care.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you provide support, service, and care based on each resident's needs and conditions. You contribute to an everyday life where the individual's abilities and wishes are taken into account.

The role includes delegated health and medical tasks such as medication, insulin administration, and wound dressing, as well as ongoing documentation in the journal system Viva. You also work with implementation plans and treatment plans.

You are the contact person for a number of residents and collaborate closely with colleagues and other professional roles within the operation. If needed, you also support work on other units.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and have experience from elder care, for example, in a nursing home or home help service. You feel confident in receiving delegation and have good experience in care work and documentation. You must also be able to work days, evenings, and every other weekend.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with people with dementia and knowledge of documentation in Viva. Knowledge of Finnish is also considered valuable.

To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible, solution-focused, and have a good attitude towards others. You can prioritize your work even when the pace varies and have a calm and professional manner in meetings with residents, relatives, and colleagues.

As part of the recruitment process, a language test is conducted. Before employment, you must also show an extract from the police's criminal record.
