The Business Unit Barracuda develops, manufactures, and markets products and services within multispectral signature adaptation. Barracuda offers a wide range of customized products for increased survivability in the form of mobile, static, and personal camouflage. The customer base is worldwide, with the headquarters located in Gamleby, which is also the location for this position.

Your Responsibilities In the role of Machine Operator, you are involved in the process of manufacturing products and contributing to meeting the wishes and requirements of customers and the company. This means being involved in the company's development by acting customer-oriented, quality-conscious, productive, and improvement-oriented both internally and externally. The role involves advanced operator work and operating machines at an independent level. Tasks include coordinating work activities, executing planning changes, as well as ordering, reporting on materials, and adjusting balances. As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for the quality and maintenance of the product.

Work is performed according to regulations, descriptions, drawings, and previous experiences based on established guidelines, plans, and/or programs. The work may also include own analyses, assessments, actions, and improvement work, which means processing, modifying, and analyzing existing products as well as simpler methods, processes, and programs.

The shift pattern is 2-shift, and rolling 3-shift.

Your Background/Qualities We are looking for a Machine Operator with a strong technical interest, who takes initiative and is willing to learn more about the technology. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities for this position and see that you as a person have the ability to take initiative, are responsible, and quality-conscious. You are a quick learner, service-oriented team player who understands the importance of how your own performance and attitude affect the whole group.

To thrive in the role and meet expectations, we see that you have:

• High school diploma in a relevant field
• Previous experience with process machinery and/or manufacturing industry
• Practical mindset and technical interest
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Desirable for the position is a valid forklift license and driver's license class B

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
