We are now looking for you who is either a recently graduated engineer with a focus on mechanics, or have a few years of experience in calculation and analysis. Our client is in an expansion phase within the defense and space industry with many new requests. Therefore, we are now looking for a calculation engineer who wants to work with our client in Trollhättan, to develop future technology together.

Our client is now going to expand its already strong team within defense, space, and other industries. They are therefore looking for a skilled, driven, and engaged calculation engineer for the office in Trollhättan.

Tasks

As a calculation engineer, you will primarily support product development projects with expertise in calculation and analysis within several disciplines. You will also handle commercial calculation tools, where for example Nastran, ADAMS, Abaqus, Optistruct, Hyperworks, LS-DYNA, Fluent, ANSYS, and ANSA are common.

Furthermore, you will also perform FE analyses of static strength, damage tolerance, structural dynamics, acoustics, impact analyses, and flow. In the role of calculation engineer, you will work proactively in methodology and product improvements, as well as handle both quality and cost savings.

We are looking for you who

• Have a bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering, Applied Mechanics, or similar.
• Have studied courses in strength of materials, or alternatively have work experience in calculation work.
• Have fluent knowledge of the Swedish and English languages.
• Have competence in one or more of the following calculation tools: Nastran, ADAMS, Abaqus, Optistruct, Hyperworks, LS-DYNA, Fluent, ANSYS, and ANSA.
• Are a Swedish citizen.
