What does the job as a nursing assistant/care assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?

As a nursing assistant or care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring our residents have a secure and meaningful life in their golden years. We always start from the resident's wishes and own abilities, focusing on health. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care and nursing based on the elderly person's individual needs. Common tasks may include help with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to pleasant activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put!

About Fyllinge Nursing Home

Fyllinge has 54 modern apartments distributed across six units, two units focused on dementia care and 4 units with a somatic focus. Each unit has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and balcony or outdoor area for socializing, meals, and activities. In the own garden, there are good opportunities for outdoor stays and outdoor activities. Norlandia operates Fyllinge in-house.

As a summer temp with us, you get access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can, for example, see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn on an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of the earned salary for extra/hourly shifts directly after the shift is completed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We want you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service, as well as being easy to collaborate with others and having the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. Simply put, a person who has a great understanding of how the profession works.

• It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 credits.
• It is a requirement that you have previous experience within elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We want you to have good computer skills/computer literacy and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
