We are currently looking for you who want to become part of our wonderful team and work as a Personal Assistant for our clients in Sundsvall/Bergsåker/Matfors during the summer and autumn.

What does this role involve? We are looking for someone who can/want to work when one of the client's regular assistants is sick, at home with sick children, or otherwise absent. This means you need to be flexible and sometimes available to work on short notice.

Sometimes we have shifts that we know about in advance, for example if a regular personal assistant is going on vacation.

We are looking for someone who has another job of max 50%, is studying, or simply hasn't found a job over the summer yet. Working as a substitute personal assistant is often a way into the profession while gaining work experience.

We use the FrösundaFramtid system, where you can mark yourself as available when you can work and unavailable when you cannot. You can also add your profile details, e.g., if you can work evenings but not during the day, or never on Mondays.

As an hourly substitute, you will collaborate with our central staffing unit, which is open from 05:30 to 21:00 to fill vacancies for our clients. There is also an opportunity to work with multiple clients.

The shifts at our clients' homes vary based on their decisions. Please mention in your application if there are any times you cannot work.

The amount of work you will do varies depending on when vacancies arise and when you are available.

In your role, you will often work independently with the client. Of course, you will receive training before you start, but thereafter you will work closely with the client.

You will assist with care tasks, i.e., helping the client with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, household chores, transfers, etc. You will be trained by the client's regular assistants.

During your shifts, you will be at the client's home. Our clients have various aids in their homes.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and responsive. We appreciate that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

You need to be flexible, solution-focused, and good at collaborating.

The client wants a pleasant, positive, and safe atmosphere in their home, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to this in a professional manner. You travel to and from our clients' homes, and sometimes you may need to start working on short notice if someone is sick. Therefore, we prefer that you live in the Sundsvall area.

We prefer that you:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• can understand and communicate in Swedish (approved Course D in Swedish at SFI).
• can work flexible hours – day, evening, and weekends.
• have experience in care and elderly care (a plus, but not a requirement).
• are non-smoking.
• live in Sundsvall or the surrounding area, as we prefer you to live in Sundsvall so you can easily and quickly get to the workplace.

Additional Information

Employment type: On-call employment.

Scope: As needed in assistance.

Working hours: Varying.

Start date: As soon as possible.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
