Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary according to their needs. You will safeguard the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life. The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships.

We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

About the assignment

We are seeking substitutes for a 20-year-old young man. You will have the opportunity to work in his home with tasks such as hygiene, cooking, shopping, laundry, cleaning, exercise, and stretching. Occasionally, there may be visits to habilitation services, doctors, or dentists.

He enjoys being out in the fresh air, so joint walks in the local area are part of the job. Grilling or packing a picnic basket is highly appreciated.

The daily routine can vary from day to day; some days are full of activities while others are much calmer. Therefore, it is important that you can read the situation and adapt accordingly. The client's mood varies, and you must be able to adjust to this, as he is very sensitive to stress.
