Our client is looking for a resource to take on the role of IT System Owner, responsible for further developing and maintaining business-critical support systems in an agile environment. The role also includes leading maintenance work and collaborating closely with business units, technical architects, and infrastructure functions to ensure stable and efficient IT solutions.
The IT operations are organized according to PM3 or a corresponding management model, and the assignment is linked to a business-supporting management object within the client's IT and development organization.
Responsibilities:
As the IT System Owner, the consultant will have overall responsibility for their services and ensure high availability and quality in application management. The role involves both operational and strategic work within incident management, change management, and the development of working methods and technical solutions.
Examples of tasks:
- Responsible for application operations and system maintenance
- Handle incidents, problems, and changes according to ITIL processes
- Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Participate in improvement and development work within maintenance and operations
- Create documentation, instructions, and decision support materials
- Collaborate with business units, infrastructure teams, and external suppliers
- Plan and coordinate smaller assignments within application management
- Maintain information in ticket management systems
- Work with scripts and technical adjustments as needed
Requirements:
- Academic education in computer science, systems science, or a corresponding field, or alternatively at least 9 years of experience in IT
- At least 5 years of documented experience leading projects or working in a leadership role in IT system maintenance within the last 12 years
- At least 3 years of documented experience in a system maintenance role
- At least 3 years of experience working according to ITIL processes, such as incident management
- Very good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure (application servers or networking) related to application incident management
- At least 3 years of experience working according to management models such as PM3 or similar methods
- At least 3 years of experience with agile working methods or certification as a Scrum Master
The assignment is subject to security clearance and a security protection agreement.

- Start Date: 2026-08-31
- End Date: 2028-08-31. Possibility of 1 + 1 year extension, until 2030-08-12
