We are looking for a District Nurse or Child Health Nurse who is interested in combining child health care work with standard clinic duties at a primary care center. We can now offer a fixed-term position for one year due to planned leave.

The Child Health Care service in Orsa carries out health-promoting and preventive, as well as outreach and treatment work, that promotes the physical, mental, and social well-being of children aged 0–6 and their guardians. Through collaboration between different professional groups, we create a holistic view that enables early interventions, and together we find pathways to a favorable development for children and families.

Working at the Child Health Care center involves promoting the health, security, and development of children by supporting parents in active parenting. This includes detecting and preventing physical and mental ill health in children, and identifying and preventing risks for children in their immediate environment and society. Duties include home visits, individual and team consultations, and telephone advice. You will also lead and organize parent groups.

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education as a District Nurse or Child Health Nurse. We seek someone who is positive, flexible, and able to work both independently and in a team. You are engaged and contribute to a good working atmosphere.

A valid Class B driver's license is required.
