About Us

Nordisk Hemservice is a family-owned business established in 2002. The company was founded by sisters Maria Irebro and Marie-Louise Bergqvist. Today, we have approximately 150 employees working in Danderyd, Östermalm, and Södermalm.

Nordisk Hemservice has a contract with the City of Stockholm. In our work, we follow established routines and guidelines along with continuous quality controls.

High quality in care is important to us Our goal is for all our customers to feel satisfied and secure with our care. By collaborating with care staff, district nurses, and Advanced Home Healthcare (ASiH), we can develop and tailor care and support to individual needs.

We are now looking for more home care staff for the summer who want to work with us! We are primarily looking for summer replacements, but there is an opportunity for extension.

Qualifications

• Experience in service occupations
• Good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written) and Spanish
• Experience in nursing/care
• Good physical fitness, as the job involves a lot of walking and heavy lifting

Merits

• Protected professional title as a nursing assistant (undersköterska)
• Category B driver's license

Job Responsibilities

Working in home care means working independently with great responsibility. At the same time, you are part of our team and have daily contact with our customers and their relatives. Your tasks include planning and performing care work in customers' homes, such as:

• Personal care (help with personal hygiene, mobility, dressing).
• Services (cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry).
• Accompaniment (accompanying the customer to activities outside the home).

After each visit, you will perform thorough documentation and time registration in a mobile application, and you travel between customers on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

Customer visits take place from 07:00 to 22:00, year-round. We appreciate that you are flexible and can work both day and evening shifts as well as weekends.

We prefer that you can work between 70–90% and do not have other employment.
