We are now looking for a Senior Cloud Architect for a company in Järfälla that operates in a classified and technically advanced environment where modern digital platforms play a central role in the continued development of the business. About the role

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will help shape the future cloud architecture within public, private, and hybrid environments as well as edge solutions. You will work together with platform teams, security specialists, developers, and architects to establish modern technical platforms that enable high innovation capability, increased automation, and efficient system development.

You will become part of an organization with high technical competence where security, robustness, and long-term sustainability are central parts of the business. The role offers great opportunities to influence architecture, technical choices, and future platform strategies while working closely with the business and development teams.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and further developing modern cloud platforms and architecture for business-critical systems and solutions.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Design secure and scalable cloud architectures
• Define technical frameworks, governance models, and deployment zones
• Drive architecture issues within hybrid, private, and public cloud environments
• Work with container platforms and cloud-adapted solutions
• Ensure solutions based on requirements for security, compliance, and operational stability
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and platform teams
• Contribute to initiatives within automation, AI, and modern system development
• Identify technical risks and areas for improvement
• Support the business in strategic and technical decision-making

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a senior profile within cloud and infrastructure architecture and feel comfortable working both strategically and operationally. You have a strong technical interest, are accustomed to complex environments, and thrive on translating business requirements into modern and sustainable solutions.

You have an easy time collaborating with different types of stakeholders and can communicate technical concepts in a clear and pedagogical manner.

Requirements:

• At least 8–10 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform architecture
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud
• Deep competence in cloud-native architecture and container platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Ansible
• Very good understanding of networking, identity management, and security architecture
• Experience with modern development and delivery methods
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and resilient operational environments
• Accustomed to working with governance models and large, complex IT environments
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience from classified or critical societal operations
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments, edge solutions, or isolated environments
• Experience with large transformation projects within cloud and infrastructure
• Knowledge within AI infrastructure or data platforms
• Certifications within cloud, container platforms, or security

The position requires approval according to current security protection regulations, which may involve citizenship requirements.
