Do you want to take the next step in your career or be part of something bigger, and value the opportunity to contribute to a safer and better Sweden through who you are and what you do? The Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Regiment (FMTIS) is recruiting a Coordinating BVKF Supervisor (Fire and Explosion Hazard, Water Pollution, and Chemical Health Impact) to the Operational Safety Department, located in Enköping or Örebro.

About the Role/Department

As the Coordinating BVKF Supervisor, you will have a coordinating function within the area. Together with your colleague and others, you are expected to drive FMTIS's work with flammable materials forward in accordance with the Civil Defence Agency's legislation and the Swedish Armed Forces' steering documents. You are the operational expert resource in the area, and through your competence and commitment, you support both the regiment and the Swedish Armed Forces as a whole. You support the regiment's permit holders and supervisors by guiding and acting as a sounding board. The role involves some travel to the regiment's operational sites where you support the implementation of, for example, risk assessments, training initiatives, investigations, as well as documenting and developing steering documents. Collaboration with other authorities, such as the Civil Defence Agency and the Fortification Agency, is of great importance.

You will be part of the Operational Safety Department, a group currently consisting of 11 employees. The department includes specialists in several specific functional areas such as environment, fire, occupational health and safety, and electrical safety.

The department is located in the regiment's headquarters, and the employees advise the regiment commander and lead the implementation of operational safety work towards the regiment's units by writing regiment-wide procedures and instructions in the area.

The department works exclusively with rule-based operations. In this area of responsibility, your role is to monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, internal rules, conducted risk assessments, and other requirements that impact FMTIS operations, and to propose changes to the regiment's steering documents/procedures, as well as planning how these changes will be implemented.

Training initiatives in collaboration with MHS Karlberg take place on several occasions per year.
