Job Description

As an electrical technician, you will be part of a team with experienced technicians working on our contract on the Western Main Line. Here, we work with the operation and maintenance of the entire railway facility, and as an electrical technician, you will focus on maintenance and troubleshooting of overhead contact lines, switch heating, lighting, and power supply.

Working hours vary, and since travel, on-call duties at home, as well as weekend and night work may occur, it is important that you live in the local area.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Approved post-secondary education with a focus on overhead contact line and electrical engineering within railways.
• Work experience as an overhead contact line technician and/or electrical technician within railways.
• Approved upper secondary education with a focus on electricity or equivalent.
• Experience from railway projects.
• Category B driver's license (manual).
• Meet medical requirements to be approved for security service.

Merits:

• Post-secondary education within railway technology.
• Competence as a contact line supervisor.
• License to operate track-bound vehicles.
• Category C driver's license.
• Authorization from the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority.
