ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for several personal assistants for our client in Örnsköldsvik on a full-time basis. Working hours vary between day, evening, and waking night during June, July, and August. Work is performed during both weekdays and weekends. You will agree on your specific working hours with the responsible manager.

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can start and be trained immediately.

About the client

The client is a 15-year-old girl with a mild intellectual disability and autism. She uses, among other things, a wheelchair, a walking frame, communication aids, and respiratory support during sleep in the form of CPAP. As an assistant in this assignment, you will be present in both school and home environments and accompany the client to planned activities.

As a personal assistant, you will provide help where the disability sets limits, which includes transfers, personal hygiene, meal situations, communication, play, and training.

The client is a happy and social girl who enjoys listening to music, watching YouTube, and going to town. There are fur animals in the home.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and can analyze the needs of other individuals. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working with children, but it is not a requirement. Furthermore, you should be responsive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. We would appreciate it if you are calm, secure, and creative, as personal suitability is highly valued. We would also appreciate experience with low-affective interaction, as interaction is of great importance. In return, you are offered stimulating and meaningful work in a family-like work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Non-smoker
• No fur animal allergies
• Tolerate chlorine/can swim

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Driver's license
• Access to a car
• Healthcare experience or equivalent
• Healthcare education or equivalent
• Previous experience working with low-affective interaction

Employment level: Summer temporary position, approx. 100%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18 years of age, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed in good time.
