Do you want to help create Sweden's best customer experience? We are now looking for enthusiastic Sales Associates for Coop West!
As a Meat Department Sales Associate at Stora Coop Skövde, you are responsible for performing all common store tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are a key face of the store and work strictly according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in creating a pleasant and inspiring store environment.
We are looking for you who are service-oriented, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong will to learn and develop in your role.
Your key knowledge and tasks include:
- Product ordering, returns, receiving checks, and delivery notes.
- Handling CAO (Central Department Orders).
- Price tagging, campaign signage, and price changes.
- Opening and closing the store according to established routines.
- Restocking and fronting products, as well as building sales-oriented displays.
- Handling complaints and claims according to routines.
- Self-control, cleaning, and tidiness in the store, warehouse, and staff areas.
- Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment.
- Following loss prevention and shrinkage routines.
- Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment.

The position is a full-time employment of 38.25 hours/week with a start date of 2026-08-17 or as agreed. Working hours vary and are scheduled during day and evening times as well as weekends. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Requirements:
- Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required.
- 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Merits:
- Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions.
- High school education.
- Multilingualism.
- Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling.
- Ability to butcher and handle meat.
