About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will become safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand prisons, and client transport.

The Section for Operational Support and Analysis has the task of developing and maintaining the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's client administrative systems for probation, remand prisons, and prisons in cooperation with the agency's IT department. The client administrative systems are to support client-oriented work and serve as a functional system support for users, while meeting the needs of internal and external actors for quality-assured information.

Job Description

In the role of Business Analyst, you will use your experience and knowledge to develop client administrative system support and help employees who use them in their work. The work involves participating in various development projects where, together with colleagues, you collect and analyze the organization's needs and convert these into business requirements, as well as conducting tests to ensure that the system support meets expectations during development and change.

The position is located at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's headquarters in Norrköping within the national department for business content.

We are looking for you who have:

• An academic degree/university education in a relevant area, e.g., behavioral science, or alternatively other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's core operations
• Experience working with the management of system support
• Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

The following are also meritorious:

• Experience with requirements specification for system support
• Training in project management PPS or similar
• Experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's adult education
• Experience working based on the governance model pm3
• Experience participating in projects
• Experience with process mapping
• Experience working with one or more of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's client administrative system supports
• Very good ability to train others, individually and in groups

Interviews are planned to be conducted in weeks 25 and 26.
