Main tasks and areas of responsibility

As a maintenance technician with us, you will become a central part of the production and be responsible for ensuring stable and efficient operations. The role involves varied and practical work where you daily work with identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues in our production equipment. The work requires that you can act quickly during acute operational disruptions and work more long-term with preventive maintenance and improvement work.

Your tasks include among other things:

• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machines and production equipment.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Analysis and resolution of operational disruptions.
• Documentation and interpretation of drawings and technical manuals.
• Planning and implementation of preventive maintenance with a focus on quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

You work with both older machines and modern technology where automation, robots, and PLC systems are a central part of the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is self-reliant, structured, and meticulous in their approach to work. The work is often planned in close collaboration with others, which makes your teamwork skills very important. You have good analytical and logical skills and are driven by identifying problems and finding solutions. At the same time, you are practical and do not hesitate to take on new tasks. Qualifications for the role

• Experience in maintenance work, preferably 5–10 years.
• Basic technical education or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge in automation and electricity.
• Experience working with control systems, robots, or production lines.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an extra plus if you have

Background in the automotive industry or a sector with similar requirements. It is also meritorious with experience working with:

• Cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Troubleshooting and preventive work.
• Implementation of improvements.
• Maintenance systems such as IDUS.
• Troubleshooting in PLC systems.

Other

The position is full-time with placement at our headquarters in Klippan. You are part of a team and report to our Factory Manager. Klippan Safety is collectively affiliated with the Technical Agreement (Teknikavtalet).
