Main Responsibilities
If you want overall responsibility for one or more departments and to lead employees, the role of Team Leader in the fresh food department is just right. Below you can see what it means to be a Team Leader at Hemköp:
- You are responsible for purchasing and sales, as well as ensuring the department achieves our jointly set goals.
- You are responsible for ensuring the customer has a good experience with us. The customer is the core of our business, so daily customer contact is important for creating a positive store experience.
- Together with your employees, you will secure profitability and ensure that routines are followed, as well as monitoring gross profit and sales.
- As Team Leader, you have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring employees receive the right information, develop, and thrive, as well as ensuring work in the store runs smoothly. You will also be part of the store's management group.
Employment type: Permanent full-time position, probationary period applies.
Start date: 2026-08-17 or by agreement.
Working hours: You will vary between early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
What We Expect
Being food-interested, good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people are prerequisites for the role. Below you can see what else is expected of you as a Team Leader at Hemköp:
- You should have knowledge of the products within your area of responsibility.
- You need to know basic economic key figures and have experience working in a store.
- As Team Leader, your leadership is important. You need to be good at explaining routines, describing the goals the store should reach, and identifying challenges.
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment is important. Equally important is your ability to delegate work, give and receive feedback, and not shy away from driving changes.
We prefer that you have experience working in leadership roles, preferably within the grocery industry.
