As an officer in geotechnics, you work on developing geotechnical investigation programs and reports, based on both new data from the field and previous studies. You contribute to sustainable and safe construction projects by analyzing ground conditions and providing a basis for decisions in construction and infrastructure investments. Responsibilities include, for example:

• Perform desk studies and produce field reports
• Analyze soil and foundation conditions via investigation data
• Write technical reports (RNA) and eventually provide recommendations
• Create geotechnical drawings
• Work in several small projects in parallel with support from more senior colleagues
• Contact customers, often via phone, to gather information
• Join field visits to understand the overall picture and learn about site conditions

• University education in road and water, geology, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Ability to work from the office 2-3 days a week

• Master's degree in Engineering
• CAD experience
• Experience from field work
• Experience with modeling
• Experience with ArcGIS
