The Psychiatric Clinic in Norrköping is part of the Psychiatric Centre and consists of four outpatient clinics (one of which is an addiction clinic), emergency services with observation beds, a mobile team, a psychiatric ambulance, and four inpatient wards.

Job Description

The Psychiatric Clinic in Norrköping is staffed with a group of specialist physicians and several ST (specialization training) doctors. The clinic also always has 8-10 AT (internship) doctors and rotating ST doctors placed at the clinic.

As a specialist physician in outpatient care, you work with assessment and treatment both independently and in collaboration with other professions. We have several specialist teams, such as eating disorder teams, DBT teams, AST teams, and psychosis teams.

We are now looking for a specialist physician for one of our three outpatient clinics located at Lindövägen 65 in Norrköping. The clinic is staffed by permanently employed specialist physicians with long experience, which creates a positive work environment, a sense of community, and continuity.

About You

We are looking for you with a specialist certificate in psychiatry. The position also includes educating and supervising younger colleagues. The role also involves on-call duties.

Since you will communicate with patients, relatives, colleagues, and in some cases authorities, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

We are looking for you who have a distinctly positive attitude towards work and get things done. As a person, you are self-reliant, stable, and structured. You communicate clearly, value differences, and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others.

You should also have good teamwork skills to contribute effectively to the teamwork at the clinic. Great importance will be attached to personal qualities in this recruitment.
