We are now looking for an Interim Head of Property Development for a large operation in West Sweden. Here you will have broad responsibilities with a focus on finance, personnel, management, and development. This assignment is suitable for you who thrive in a role where strategic issues are combined with close operational work, and where you drive the business forward together with managers, employees, and external partners.

Your Employment Offer

In this role, you will become part of an operation with a long-term focus on management, development, and new production. You will join an organization where structure and collaboration are important parts of daily work, while you also gain significant influence over both working methods and business development.

The assignment is full-time with a start as soon as possible and runs until December 31st. The assignment can be performed as a consultant via TNG or as a sub-consultant through your own company. As a consultant via TNG, you will receive secure employment during the assignment period and a dedicated consultant manager who supports you throughout the assignment.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Lead, develop, and follow up on operations, employees, and managers within your area of responsibility.
• Be responsible for budget, forecast, results, business planning, and business follow-up.
• Drive development in property development, new production, maintenance, and technical projects.
• Work with design and development of residential projects.
• Develop working methods, processes, and management for increased efficiency and quality.
• Be responsible for procurement, contracts, insurance, and external collaborations.
• Collaborate with internal functions, authorities, and external actors within urban development.
• Drive sustainability work and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
• Ensure the implementation of strategic decisions in the business.

Important Information

The role is located in West Sweden and involves many contact surfaces, both internally and externally. You work close to the operations in a role with high tempo and many parallel issues. The role reports to the CEO and participates in the management group as needed.

Our Expectations

We would like you to have:

• An academic degree as a civil engineer or equivalent relevant education.
• At least 10 years of experience from a leadership position within construction, property management, or property development.
• Good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act and relevant regulations.
• Experience with personnel responsibility as well as financial, budget, and result work.
• Experience in property management, property development, and preferably acquisitions.
• Good experience in procurement, preferably according to LOU (Public Procurement Act).
• Experience with business systems and analysis work in Excel.
• Good understanding of business management, processes, and flows.
• Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

As a leader, you are secure, business-minded, and structured. You have the ability to drive issues forward and build good collaborations both internally and externally. Furthermore, you are analytical and communicative, with experience in turning analysis into decisions and development in the business.
