Do you want to help build and develop the accounting operations in our Polish subsidiaries – in a growing software group where your work truly makes a difference? At Progrits (soon Movement Software), we are now looking for a Polish-speaking Accounting Manager – a key role in creating structure, ensuring quality, and being the link between Sweden and Poland, with great opportunities to influence and develop. Does this sound like a role for you – read on!
Progrits (Movement Software shortly) continues to grow internationally and is now strengthening its finance team with a focus on our Polish operations. In this role, you will become an important partner to both local contacts in Poland and our group management – and a central part in ensuring the numbers add up across borders. You will be based at our headquarters in Gothenburg.
About the role
As an Accounting Manager, you will have broad and independent responsibility for accounting and reporting in both Swedish companies and our Polish subsidiaries. The role resembles a traditional finance manager position, but with a clear focus on international work and cross-border collaboration.
You will work closely with both operations and management, serving as a natural sounding board for accounting and finance-related questions. This role is suitable for someone with a few years of experience who wants to take the next step in a growing, international software group.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ongoing accounting and monthly closing for Swedish companies
- Contact and collaboration with external parties such as accounting firms, auditors, and advisors in Poland
- Responsibility for reporting and follow-up in our Polish subsidiaries
- Ensuring correct accounting according to local regulations in Poland together with local advisors
- Internal reporting, analysis, and follow-up towards the group and management
- Supporting operations with financial and accounting matters
- Contributing to the development and improvement of processes, working methods, and structure in an international environment
About you
We believe you have worked for a couple of years in accounting or a similar role and now wish to develop further in an international context. You are confident in the basics but not afraid of new questions, new environments, or new contacts. As a person, you are communicative, curious, and relationship-building. You dare to take a stand, ask questions, and build trust – both internally and externally.
We would like you to:
- Have a few years of experience in accounting or financial responsibility
- Have experience with Polish accounting and Polish tax regulations
- Speak and write Polish, Swedish, and English fluently
- Have a good general understanding of accounting and financial flows
- Be accustomed to collaborating with various stakeholders and external parties
- Thrive in a role with both independent responsibility and close collaboration
It is an advantage if you have been involved in M&A processes, have experience working in or with international companies or groups, and if you have worked in software, tech, or SaaS companies.
Last but not least – you have grit. A strong will and endurance that enables you to get through challenges and make things work, regardless of circumstances. With these qualities and experiences, we are convinced that you will thrive and develop with us!
Interested? Get in touch!
If this sounds like a team, work environment, and culture you would enjoy – we would love to hear more from you! Apply for the job, connect with us, or share this with someone you think would fit in!
