We are now looking for two psychologists for outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP) in Kalmar! With us, you will have the opportunity to grow in your role as a psychologist while enjoying meaningful and developmental work in our newly built, modern facilities.

You will be part of the Kalmar/Oskarshamn unit. We are nine licensed psychologist colleagues who want you to succeed in your assignment. In our learning climate, there are excellent opportunities for further education, external supervision within CBT, PDT, and family therapy. Your contribution to the team will play a crucial role as we continue to develop child and adolescent psychiatry together.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams with doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and secretaries. We operate from an interdisciplinary perspective, striving to always view the child/adolescent in their context.

Follow-up, quality, and patient safety are prioritized areas. We believe in the power of a good climate for dialogue and development, which we look forward to you becoming a part of.

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with an interest in specialist psychiatry. It is an advantage if you are a licensed psychotherapist and/or have specialist training in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, or psychological treatment. Furthermore, work experience within specialist psychiatry is advantageous.

The role focuses on collaboration with the goal of achieving the best treatment quality for our patients. This means that as a person, you see the value of building and maintaining good relationships with patients and colleagues. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to express yourself clearly and adapt your language and message to the recipient and situation.

BUP consists of outpatient clinics in Västervik, Kalmar, and Oskarshamn, as well as our inpatient care and emergency department located in Kalmar. Eating disorder unit clinics can be found in Kalmar and Västervik.
