Technician in Property Operations (Drifttekniker)

Riksbyggen is moving forward and constantly developing our operations to best meet the needs of our customers. Therefore, we are now looking for technicians for our operations in Gävle.

Make a difference with us

As a technician, you work with technically complex buildings that require significant property technical competence. You work with energy and operational monitoring, perform maintenance, identify deviations, and carry out corrective maintenance. You will work in close collaboration with other technicians, energy engineers, technical managers, and property caretakers. The work is varied, social, and very independent with significant personal responsibility. You will have great freedom to solve the tasks you face in your work on your own. At our company, the computer and telephone are natural work tools, and every work order is handled digitally. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance measures based on orders or fault reports.
• Supervision and maintenance of the buildings' technical systems.
• Meter readings and follow-up of energy statistics.
• Administration, e.g., customer reporting, energy statistics, work order management, etc.
• Perform systematic fire safety work and manage fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
• Perform functional tests and maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

You contribute with your competence and commitment

You have a technician education at the upper secondary level or equivalent competence acquired in other ways. A broad property technical competence through several years of relevant work experience, preferably with a background in electricity, ventilation, heating, or control & regulation technology.

It is important that you are social and have the ability to create an open and trustful dialogue with customers and your colleagues. You can work independently, have strong problem-solving skills, and work in a business-like manner. You enjoy providing good service and always act professionally in your customer interactions. You want to be part of creating a good and long-term sustainable environment. You have a good ability to work administratively with the help of digital tools, and you have a good ability to express yourself well both verbally and in writing.

The position requires a B-driver's license and is located in Gävle, but work in other locations within the market area may occur. On-call duties may be included in this position.
