Do you want a free outdoor job where you make our roads safer and neater? We need to strengthen our team immediately and are looking for you who want to work with clearing and maintenance contracts along the road network in Gästrikland and Hälsingland.

What we offer you

• Free work under your own responsibility: You perform much of the work independently out in the field.
• On-site training: No previous experience is required, we teach you what you need to know.

Your tasks

Your main focus is to keep the road environment safe, clear, and clean. The work area covers both Gästrikland and Hälsingland. The tasks include:

• Clearing of bushes and grass: Mechanical clearing along road edges and at fixed obstacles (e.g., signs and guardrails).
• Maintenance of wildlife fences: Clearing work and removal of brush and branches to ensure the fence functions correctly.
• Other road maintenance: In addition to clearing work, other common tasks and assignments within road maintenance may also arise.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are practical, reliable, and enjoy hard outdoor work in all weather. Since the road is a living workplace, it is important that you have a high level of safety awareness.

Requirements for the position:

• Good physical condition and ability to work at a high pace: The work is physically demanding and places high demands on your endurance and strength.
• Category B driver's license and access to your own car: An absolute requirement to get to and from the different work areas.
• No previous experience required: The right attitude and willingness to work are the most important things for us.

Merits (Big plus):

• Training in Work on Road (APV): Valid certificate for APV 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 is highly meritorious.
• Chainsaw and brush cutter training: Training or license for brush cutter and chainsaw is a big plus.
• Employment support: If you are entitled to some form of employment support (e.g., start-up job or introduction job) through the Swedish Public Employment Service, it is advantageous for this position.

Terms of employment and application

• Employment type: Short-term employment with good opportunities for extension. The employment begins with a probation period.
• Start date: Immediately. The recruitment is ongoing and the position can be filled immediately.
• Scope: Full-time / According to agreement
• Work area: Gästrikland and Hälsingland.
