NCC is increasing its market share in blasting operations in Gävleborg/Dalarna, which means we immediately need to strengthen our rock group with competent and experienced employees. NCC Industry Rock Group currently consists of approximately 75 employees. The group owns 40 drill rigs, and operations are conducted from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north. We are one of Sweden's largest above-ground blasting teams. The role of a blaster involves independently planning, executing, documenting, and taking responsibility for above-ground blasting in both quarries and construction projects. As a blaster, you are a crucial piece in our effort to maintain our position as the leading supplier regarding quality, performance, and environment. You often serve as our face to the outside world, so it is important that you, as a person, have a natural aptitude for nurturing relationships with our customers and suppliers. The primary geographical area is Gävleborg/Dalarna, but work in other parts of the country may also occur. Requirements You must have a basic course in blasting technology, and additional training in the field is considered an asset. Previous experience as a responsible blaster on construction projects is also an asset. Even if you have less experience but a strong interest in the profession, you may be the one we are looking for. Computer literacy and a Category B driver's license are mandatory. You are a responsible and self-motivated person who thrives on driving your work forward independently. You understand the importance of your contribution to a successful result.
