We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have experience with chipping work and thrive working primarily at rock quarries around Central Sweden. The quarries are located in several towns in the region, but work in other locations may also occur.

As a chopper (chipper), you work with chipping blasted rock using an excavator at various rock quarries.

The role requires responsibility as you often manage contact with the customer's site management and other personnel on-site yourself. You have a strong safety mindset, are solution-oriented, and thrive working against set schedules.

Requirements for the role:

• 🪨 Category B driver's license
• 🪨 Excavator operator certificate
• 🪨 Experience with chipping work
• 🪨 Approved security clearance according to the LBE Act and background check

About the role

As a chopper (excavator operator) at Uppländska Berg, you will primarily work on our rock quarry projects around Central Sweden.

The tasks consist mainly of chipping blasted rock and rock material using an excavator and hydraulic hammer, but other types of excavator work may also occur.

Continuous contact with site management regarding planning, otherwise the work is relatively independent. Workplaces vary, but the tasks consist primarily of chipping work.

Application

The position is full-time. Work at the quarries takes place primarily Monday to Thursday. The location of the quarries varies but is mainly in Central Sweden.
