What we offer
Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Centre, 1177 and emergency clinics in the evenings and weekends, and the General Practice Education Centre. We provide a broad range of primary care services, offering healthcare to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.
We are a forward-looking organization with a strong focus on a good working environment, development, and health. We actively work to create conditions for sustainable working life while maintaining a development-inspired approach to meet future challenges in primary care. At our workplace, there are excellent opportunities for career development if you wish to advance within your profession, become a manager, or move forward in other ways, such as through specialization or research.
Vårdcentralen Ryd is located on the outskirts of Linköping, close to beautiful leisure and hiking areas. The neighborhood consists of a mix of villas and apartments. The proximity to Linköping University has made Ryd an attractive place for students to live, resulting in a relatively young population in the area.
The health centre has approximately 10,000 registered patients, and a large part of the population has a multicultural background. The health centre is well-staffed with specialists in general practice, doctors in training, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, healthcare administrators, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and dietitians. We also have access to a well-equipped laboratory.
