Job Responsibilities

As an operations technician, you work with monitoring, controlling, optimizing operations, and maintaining all production units. The facility consists of two waste-fired cogeneration boilers, one waste-fired hot water boiler, a CFB boiler fired with wood chips, peat, and bark, as well as bio-oil boilers used during operational interruptions. The role includes preventive maintenance, rounds, and corrective maintenance of the heating plant and our external central stations. Tasks that may occur include welding, hydraulics, pump renovation, and mechanical maintenance on cranes, gearboxes, and conveyors, among others. You will work in the control system 800xA and the maintenance system IDUS. The position involves shift work and may include on-call duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education at least at the upper secondary level, preferably with a focus on industrial technology, energy, or other education considered equivalent. We value knowledge gained from similar production facilities. We would like you to have experience in control and regulation technology, electricity, and computerized operational monitoring. The work as an operations technician requires precision and a sense of responsibility for operating the facility in an environmentally and operationally economical way.

You have a Class B driver's license.
