We are growing and are now looking for service technicians/engineers who want to join our journey. Here, you will have an exciting daily routine where you combine advanced technical problem-solving with close customer relationships. You will become a key person in a team working with the latest technology in drive systems – and at the same time, you will have great opportunities to develop both professionally and personally.

Our service business is growing strongly, and our customers are primarily in the energy, process, and manufacturing industries. The base location is Gällivare, but travel within Sweden and internationally may occur for those who wish to broaden their experience.

Your responsibilities

• Maintenance, commissioning, modernization, and optimization of ABB's frequency converters and rectifiers at our customers' facilities.
• Perform measurements and analyze data to propose appropriate maintenance actions.
• Work with AC and DC drive systems and participate in our project deliveries.
• Responsibility for the execution of our service agreements.
• Collaborate closely with our product companies and access the latest technology.
• Development through ABB Motion's competence ladder and personal certification programs.
• Opportunity to work internationally within ABB's global organization.
• Be close to the customer and work directly on-site to understand their needs and create long-term relationships.

Your background

• Upper secondary education or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Automation.
• Experience in installation and good competence in control and regulation technology.
• Knowledge in power systems is an advantage.
• Plus if you have worked in the process, mining, or pulp industry, energy companies, or similar.
• Good computer skills (MS Office, analysis, and reporting tools) – not a requirement but an advantage.
• Business-minded thinking and drive to develop and solve customer needs.
• Social and relationship-building – you thrive in meetings with people.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license.
