Coop Hjärup is looking for a new salesperson to join our wonderful team!

At Coop, we deliver not only good products at good prices, but we see ourselves a bit like a Kinder Surprise egg. We always deliver something exciting to our customers, something to play with (primarily in the kitchen, but we have other things too) and, of course, we have plenty of chocolate and other treats. Not to mention, customers also receive top-class service from our staff.

Working as a salesperson at Coop is a highly varied job. You will perform cash register duties, sales, picking goods, merchandising, ordering, and much, much more.

Your role as a salesperson includes among other things:

• Ensuring shelves are always faced and well-stocked
• Ensuring all products have the correct prices
• Handling customer complaints and feedback according to guidelines in a professional manner
• Keeping the store clean and sales-oriented

The position is a permanent employment of 28 hours per week. Start date is immediate or by agreement. Your working hours may vary as we are open when our customers want to shop, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday. A probationary period may apply.

• Experience and competence in retail sales are meritorious
• Experience and competence in service professions are meritorious
• Multilingual skills and experience/interest in different cultures are meritorious

The most important thing for us is that you are genuinely interested in food, service, and sales. You should enjoy working in a group and actively contribute to creating a good work environment. We want you, as an applicant, to have good initiative and positive energy that is contagious, see the customer's needs, and deliver the industry's best customer service with pride and joy. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to constantly develop and improve both the business and yourself. We won't hide the fact that it can be a stressful job at times, so it is important that you enjoy working at a fast pace and can maintain your calm and smile even in stressful situations. Together with your colleagues, you become the face of the store, and for you, the customer is always number one.
