We are looking for a complete test automation team for a 4-month assignment focused on API test automation within a modern microservices environment. The team consists of a Tech Lead/Test Automation Architect, a Senior Test Automation Engineer, and a Mid-level Test Automation Engineer.

Responsibilities

The team is responsible for building, implementing, and further developing automated tests for multiple APIs. The work includes designing test strategies and frameworks, implementing automated API tests, integration tests, test data management, and working within CI/CD workflows. The tech stack primarily involves Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.

The Tech Lead/Test Automation Architect leads the technical work, sets standards, designs the framework, and supports the team through technical decisions and code reviews.

The Senior Test Automation Engineer works hands-on with implementing tests for complex APIs and contributes to quality assurance in a technically advanced environment.

The Mid-level Test Automation Engineer contributes to test implementation, support, and further development alongside more senior colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience with API test automation.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and test pipelines.
• Knowledge of SQL and test data management.
• Ability to work structured in complex technical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building test frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with integration tests in microservices environments.
• Experience in technical leadership, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Previous experience with team deliveries in test automation.
