LKAB's open-pit mines are located in Svappavaara, four miles southeast of Kiruna. In these open pits, we extract iron ore and waste rock by drilling and blasting, after which we load, crush, and screen the ore into a raw material for pellet production. Your role

We are looking for a lubricator for the Svappavaara processing plant. The processing plants consist of a concentrator and a ball sinter plant. As a lubricator, you are an engaged team player who drives and develops the department together with your colleagues. The work involves preventive maintenance according to a fixed schedule, where emergency interventions are also required. As a lubricator, you work in close collaboration with other groups within maintenance and production.

The work as a lubricator is independent, and to thrive in the role, you are someone who likes to plan your work, you are solution-oriented, and can keep your cool when urgent problems arise. Our goal is for our high-tech mining and mineral company to run smoothly, and you will be an important piece of the puzzle.

Your daily life as a lubricator

• Monitoring and maintenance of central lubrication equipment
• Scheduled lubrication routines via round lists
• Defect reporting
• Material ordering
• Reporting on defect notifications & round lists
• Various component repairs
• Hose manufacturing as needed
• Installation of new lubrication equipment

What you bring with you

We are looking for you who are engaged and interested in maintenance. You are meticulous, take initiative, and enjoy solving problems.

We also see that you have:

• Approved high school grades (required)
• B-driver's license for manual transmission (required)
• Experience or education in maintenance (meritorious)
