Assignment Description

We are currently looking for a Hardware Design Engineer.

What You Will Work On

• Design and develop hardware solutions combining mechanical and electrical components.
• Develop sheet metal constructions with integrated electronic functionality.
• Support development activities across low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
• Define and optimize cable routing and cable management solutions.
• Build and refine prototypes throughout the product development process.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate testing activities according to project timelines.
• Support validation and verification processes for product readiness.
• Collaborate closely with software and power electronics teams to enable integrated system delivery.
• Coordinate technical activities with suppliers and external partners.
• Contribute to product strategy and long-term development initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across development processes and engineering practices.
• Support cross-functional alignment across purchasing, production, and commercial teams.

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in hardware or product development environments.
• Broad technical background with exposure across multiple engineering disciplines.
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical system integration.
• Experience working with testing, validation, and prototype development.
• Structured and proactive approach to planning and execution.
• Strong problem-solving capability and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business functions.
• Comfortable contributing to long-term product and technology discussions.
• Experience collaborating with purchasing, production, and commercial organizations.
