ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an IT Support Technician based in Lycksele. Our clients are within municipal operations, such as administration, schools, and healthcare and social care. Lystkom is responsible for the operation and support of the IT environment in the municipalities of Lycksele, Storuman, and Åsele.

As an IT Support Technician at Lystkom, you work in first-line support and are the person users meet in their first contact with Lystkom. This involves a broad responsibility, largely consisting of handling incoming cases in case management systems as well as telephone support. In addition to IT support, other areas of responsibility may become relevant, such as handling computers, tablets, and other technical devices. Common tasks include permission administration, handling of SITHS cards, and troubleshooting applications and hardware.

The position also includes being stationed at one of Lycksele's schools on certain days, where you provide on-site support to students and staff and meet users with varying needs and technical proficiency.

ABOUT YOU

The work is varied, and you will encounter many different types of challenges. Therefore, you need to have good planning skills, a service-oriented mindset, social competence, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied work pace, is receptive and pedagogical, and has a natural approach to working with people.

We expect you to have good communication skills via various channels such as the phone, face-to-face meetings, and digital tools. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious. You must have very good proficiency in Swedish and good proficiency in English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience in IT operations and technical support and/or a strong technical interest and understanding of technology, as well as experience working in a school environment. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Lystkom consists of approximately 30 employees across the five member municipalities: Lycksele, Storuman, Vilhelmina, Åsele, and Dorotea. Lystkom IT consists of approximately 18 people stationed in Lycksele, Storuman, Tärnaby, and Åsele.
