Do you want a key role where you can combine technology, strategy, and business development? Skellefteå Buss is now looking for an IT Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for our IT environment and contribute to our continued digital development.

About the role

As our IT Manager, you will have a broad and varied assignment with both operational and strategic elements. You play a central role in ensuring a stable, secure, and cost-effective IT environment while driving development forward.

You report to the Head of Business Development and Support Services and work closely with both the operations and external IT partners.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Lead IT projects, such as system implementations and upgrades
• Develop and manage IT strategy, policies, and guidelines
• Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of servers, networks, and workplace equipment
• Develop and monitor work within IT and information security
• Drive and develop cooperation with external IT suppliers
• Ensure functional IT support and introduce new employees

Your profile

We believe you have post-secondary education in IT or computer science. Experience in a similar role is an advantage.

You have good knowledge in:

• Operating systems
• Networks and IT infrastructure
• Cloud services, preferably Microsoft 365 and Azure
• IT security (e.g., firewalls, backup, and access control)

About Skellefteå Buss

Municipally owned Skellefteå Buss operates public transport in Skellefteå, including city traffic and parts of the county's line traffic. Additionally, we operate school transport, airport shuttles, medical transport, and hockey buses. Our task is to ensure that people can get to work, school, and other places that are important to them. We also contribute to a better environment, strengthen social sustainability, and create growth by enabling living in places other than where work or school is located. Skellefteå Buss employs approximately 260 people who together work to develop Skellefteå and be there for our citizens. All under the vision “Accessible and safe. For everyone. Every day.”
