Job Description

Beyond Gravity is now looking for an experienced Electronics Technician for their Test Section for Breadboard production. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for building wiring and test equipment. Additionally, you will work closely with their design departments and production teams. Your responsibilities will include leading and following up on design and modifications with a focus on producibility. You will also participate in documenting new manufacturing techniques in collaboration with materials and process departments as well as the design department.

Examples of tasks:

• Producing Breadboard equipment in close collaboration with design departments and production.
• Leading and following up on design and modifications regarding producibility.
• Documenting new manufacturing techniques together with the materials and process department.
• Building wiring and test equipment.

You will be part of a team that together supports the business with testing and verification. The team you will be part of specializes in the construction of test equipment and production, giving you the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the electronics industry – from development to finished product. The assignment is long-term, and the work is full-time, daytime hours, Monday–Friday. You will work in modern, high-tech facilities located in Kallebäck, Gothenburg.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Electronics Technician at Beyond Gravity, we see that you have a production background in electronics, have worked for a few years as a technician, and are accustomed to manual assembly of circuit boards and devices. You have good soldering and component knowledge as well as a good understanding of interpreting and understanding drawing documents. Experience with building test equipment is highly meritorious.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge and understanding of electronics production processes.
• Experience working with microscopes.
• Experience with soldering and working with electronic components.
• Good understanding of interpreting and understanding drawing documents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Meritorious:

• Experience with building test equipment.
• Knowledge within Lean Production.
• Modification/machining of mechanical parts.
