About the job:

The client is a 30-year-old woman with autism and moderate intellectual disability who lives alone in an apartment in central Hudiksvall. She leads an active life and works in day activities where she receives support from her assistant to perform various tasks. In her free time, she is active; she works out at the gym, goes for walks, visits the swimming pool, and enjoys going to the cinema. She sometimes takes the train for excursions and has a keen interest in music and music events. She takes a walk with her assistant to get to work. She needs support with most aspects of her daily life, including household chores. The client has limited speech and often speaks fast and quietly. She uses aids in the form of time and schedule planning for her days.

The person we are looking for:

We are looking for a woman who can provide support and encouragement. You need to be calm, clear, patient, and persistent. An important quality is the ability to maintain calm and patience in situations where the client repeats herself in both words and actions, or if she becomes stressed. You should have the ability to help the client structure her daily life. We appreciate if you have a twinkle in your eye and also value playfulness and humor as qualities. To communicate and achieve mutual understanding, fluent Swedish in speech and writing is required. If you like music, that is a plus. You are a non-smoker and have good physical condition as the client is active. You must be a competent swimmer as you swim together with the client. We would like you to enjoy cooking and be able to manage a household.

Working hours:

24-hour shifts 80% plus on-call duty (wait time). You sleep in your own room in the client's home. As an assistant, your workplace is where the client is, and sometimes the client is at her parents' home, in which case you are there too, which may involve overnight stays. You have a driver's license and a car.

We prefer that you live in Hudiksvall or the surrounding area and can start the introduction process now so that you are ready before the summer holidays. We place great emphasis on personal suitability!
