The Church of Sweden in Haninge is looking for a Business Manager for Learning & Teaching who wants to lead and develop our children's, youth, confirmation, and adult activities.

About the role

As the Business Manager for Learning & Teaching within the Haninge Pastoral District, you hold a key role in the district's leadership. You are responsible for strategically leading, coordinating, and developing learning and teaching across the entire district. You report to and work closely with the Parish Priest and are part of the management team, contributing to the overall parish life.

You lead a work team with pedagogical competence and strive to create good conditions for employees to develop and succeed in their assignments. The role includes responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget.

About the operations

We have a rich work with children and young people, including confirmation activities, young leaders, open activities, and collaboration with schools and preschools. Our ambition is to reach more people and create relevant contexts for learning in people's daily lives.

The Church's teaching is directed at everyone – regardless of age, background, or experience of faith. We actively work to create a diversity of meeting places and methods where people can grow in knowledge, faith, and community.

We are looking for you who:

• Have a university-level pedagogical education or other education that the employer considers relevant.
• Have theological education or another equivalent background.
• Have documented experience of leadership and operational development.
• Have successfully led groups and teams.
• Work in a structured, goal-oriented, and strategic manner.
• Have good operational ability and can translate plans into practice.
• Have very good collaboration skills and communicate in a listening, clear, and trustworthy manner.
• Are well rooted in the Church of Sweden's operations and value base.
