ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Stöde. Currently, we offer two permanent positions at 95% and 97.5%.

You will work weekdays and weekends, with shifts scheduled as follows:

• 08:30 - 20:30
• 20:30 - 08:30

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his 40s who previously competed at an elite level. His hobbies include pool training, working out in his home gym, and using his arm and leg ergometers. He also enjoys taking walks in the surrounding area in his electric wheelchair and likes to unwind by watching TV and listening to music. Our client lives with his parents in a house adapted for him.

He needs support during the night for turning, toilet visits, supervision, as well as during epileptic seizures and breathing difficulties. As an assistant, you will also help with dressing and undressing, hygiene, medication, and communication, as the client has aphasia. You will also support with household chores and exercise. The client uses several aids that you, as an assistant, will help him manage.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Category B driver's license
• Access to a car
• Non-smoker
• Tolerates chlorine + has basic swimming skills
• Applicants with small children are not eligible as the client is sensitive to infections

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a personal assistant or other care experience
• Care education or equivalent

Employment level: 2 permanent positions (95% and 97.5%) with immediate start.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
