Do you want to contribute to quality, legal certainty, and development within social work? Are you driven by analyzing complex issues and creating improvements that make a real difference for people? Then you might be the expert we are looking for at the Social Services Office in Norrköping.

Who are we?

At the Social Services Office in Norrköping, we work together to create security and quality of life for the residents. Our daily work is characterized by collaboration, engagement, and a strong focus on meeting people's needs with high quality.

In the role of expert, you will belong to the Business Support area, which is an important support function for the entire social services office. Here, we work to provide expertise, structure, and support to the operations – always with the best interests of the operations and residents in focus. The group consists of dedicated and competent employees who value both professionalism and good cohesion in everyday life.

We are now looking for a new expert for our team of three employees. The position is specifically focused on the office's operations for persons with disabilities. At the same time, we are in an exciting development process where, together with other support functions, we are building more structured working methods to strengthen the social services office's joint quality and improvement work.

Your responsibilities

As an expert, you are responsible for investigating events and deviations of a more serious nature within the social services office's operations, with a special focus on operations within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and disability support. You conduct investigations, analyze underlying causes, and identify areas for development to contribute to increased quality and legal certainty.

In the role, you work closely with operations, managers, and other strategic functions within the social services office. Together, you develop and follow up on action plans based on the deviations and audits conducted. The work also has a clear preventive perspective where you contribute expertise regarding legislation and authority requirements in various development initiatives.

You will also conduct training in areas such as authority practice, implementation, and documentation, as well as develop and revise governing documents within the area. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to ensuring that the knowledge emerging from investigations and audits is translated into practical development work for the entire office.

The work is independent, and you drive many investigations on your own, while the position also involves close collaboration with colleagues, management, and operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a university degree as a social worker, lawyer, or another university education that the employer considers equivalent. You have very good knowledge of LSS legislation, the Social Services Act (SoL), as well as other laws and regulations that govern the operations within the social services office.

The position requires experience from both authority practice and implementation within LSS operations. It is meritorious if you have previously worked as a manager, first-line social secretary, expert, or investigator in the field.

As a person, you are analytical and have the ability to see the big picture and connections in complex issues. You quickly build trusting relationships and contribute to security in the meeting with the employees and managers who participate in our audits and follow-ups.

You also have good pedagogical skills and express yourself well both orally and in writing, which allows you to adapt training and convey complex information to different target groups. To thrive in the role, you need to be self-initiating, structured, and driven, while also having an easy time collaborating and appreciating working together with others to create long-term improvements.

Welcome with your application!
