Drift Manager Electrical – Västervik Hospital

You now have the opportunity to apply for an exciting position within facility operations at Västervik Hospital! Together with colleagues and management, you will develop, lead, and plan work related to electrical and lighting installations, switchgear, and backup power. The goal of your role is to achieve optimal functionality, safety, and operational efficiency within the facility operations area. After an introductory period, the position includes on-call duties, with a maximum response time to Västervik Hospital of 45 minutes.

The position may be subject to a security clearance.

About You

You hold a university degree in electrical engineering or have other education and work experience that we consider equivalent. You have experience in similar roles, preferably in a large-scale operation. We also take into account any education as an authorized electrician (AL) when assessing your application. Our facilities contain technology and safety systems that are highly digitalized; therefore, strong IT and control system competence is crucial for this role. A valid driver’s license (Category B) is required.

In your work, you maintain a professional attitude – you are service-oriented, responsive, and structured. You have good teamwork skills, a genuine interest in technology, and enjoy interacting with people. You are also quality-conscious, independent, and capable of organizing your work efficiently.

At the facility operations team in Västervik, we are a group of technicians and engineers working together on the daily operations of our facilities in Västervik and Vimmerby municipalities. Our mission is to manage the operation and maintenance of Region Kalmar County’s complex buildings and equipment. We work with advanced technology, which is a significant part of modern healthcare.
