About the role

As a Project Manager here, you are responsible for driving and developing projects within production. The projects vary in size and scope – from larger investment and automation projects to smaller improvement initiatives.

You are part of Production Development and work closely with the operations, contributing to strengthening our competitiveness and further developing our working methods within Lean Production – or Manufacturing Excellence as we call it at Trelleborg.

You have overall responsibility for ensuring that projects are delivered according to set goals regarding time, cost, quality, and safety, while ensuring clear communication with all relevant stakeholders.

A particular focus going forward is to increase our level of automation – where you will play a central role.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and drive projects from start to finish
• Define goals, scope, requirements, and deliverables
• Create and monitor schedules, resources, and budgets
• Identify and manage risks
• Lead cross-functional project teams
• Ensure projects follow our project model
• Monitor project progress and results
• Responsible for documentation, handover, and lessons learned
• Contribute to developing and improving our project management methods

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in project management within the industry, preferably with a technical focus. You have preferably worked with investment or automation projects and have an interest in Lean Production.

You are confident in leading projects and people, and have the ability to create engagement and get teams to work towards common goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within industry
• Experience with larger investment projects is an advantage
• Knowledge of Lean Production is an advantage
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
• Good knowledge of MS Office
