You will be driving the development of both products and processes, taking on significant responsibility, collaborating closely with production, and having the opportunity to influence future solutions in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.

With strong growth ambitions, the company offers a dynamic environment where innovation and technological development are at the center. Become part of our success story.
Job Description
As a Development Engineer, you will become a key figure in our technical team. You will work both practically and theoretically to develop new products and processes, as well as further develop and optimize existing ones. The role includes being responsible for the lab and supporting production operations with your specialist expertise, which implies close collaboration with colleagues across various functions.
You will plan and conduct chemical analyses, evaluate results, and translate your conclusions into concrete improvement proposals. A key part of your work is to ensure that deliveries are made on time and with high quality, even when priorities change rapidly. The role involves shift work, which requires flexibility, responsibility, and a structured approach to work.
This is a role for you if you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy problem-solving, and want to influence the products and processes of the future.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university education in chemistry or a related field. You have documented experience in development work regarding products and processes, as well as supporting production in a laboratory environment. In the role, you will work closely with both production and management, contributing your technical expertise to ensure stable, efficient, and quality-assured processes.
You are meticulous, decisive, and have a holistic view – you can place your analyses and recommendations in a larger context and see how they affect the entire production chain. You are solution-oriented, enjoy taking initiative, and making decisions. You are communicative and have the ability to communicate and collaborate with different types of colleagues.
Furthermore, you are stress-resistant, responsible, and willing to work outside regular hours when necessary, for example during acute production stoppages, transitions, or important test runs.
It is meritorious if you have experience with laboratory analyses in industry-adjacent lab environments where fast and reliable results are crucial for production. Experience with service organizations towards production, optimization of process flows, and implementation of new working methods is highly valued, as is experience in working systematically with improvement work and tracking key performance indicators. Experience in preparation work, which you will be involved in, is also relevant.
If you have also worked with quality control, documentation according to industry standards, and cross-functional collaboration between development, production, and quality, this is seen as a clear advantage. Experience in establishing routines, instructions, and reports, as well as training colleagues in new working methods, is also very positive.
You will report to the CEO. The location is Kalmar.
